Catch your breath....

Since the calamity of Friday the 13th of March, 2020 it has been like falling down the stairs.

Once you start to fall down the stairs you just roll and think “soon this is gonna be over“.

Then when you are at the bottom of the stairs and the falling stops you lay there and take inventory. “Can I move my legs? Can I move my arms? Did I break any bones?” Once you feel like you might be ok you just lay there for another minute or two and breathe.

That‘s how I feel lately. My life was going along with a reasonable amount of progressing according to plan when I slipped and starting falling down the CV19 staircase.

Getting a wrench thrown in the sprockets like the coronavirus literally derailed the entire world. Every person that you know has been affected and most affected adversely.

Life as we knew it changed and stayed different. Life may not resume normal ever again.

God’s people immediately look to Him and have faith that God will see us through. We have confidence in God’s plan. If you say “The Lord is my refuge” then Psalm 91:11 says:

For he will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.

We look to God to help us and that’s exactly what he wants to do.

We were living one way following God and BANG! We roll down the stairs and are stopped at the bottom of the stairs taking inventory to see if we can get back on our feet. Once we get back on our feet we have to take it slow for a little while and that’s a good thing. Not as much “progress” happens but you can take time to re-evaluate things.

I am ready to get back on the horse following God all the way to the finish line. Each day I gain strength. I want to be an encouragement to you.

As we get back to normal this summer I encourage you to take it slow. Keep an awareness of what God is doing. Stay tuned in to His frequency And understand there is no time to waste.

His sheep need feeding. Feed them.
