It was Friday the 13th.... normally my lucky day, when the decisions started to be made to shut things down.
None of us knew what was in store. I knew God would see us through and I started thanking Him for deliverance.
Deliverance in His time. Time to God is not much of an issue but to us it’s critical. The nation of Israel marched in circles in the desert for 40 years. While in the desert for 40 years they became a nation.
It took that long for them to become what God wanted them to be.
During this time of social distancing and business shutdowns we can see this as a huge problem or a once in a lifetime opportunity.
I personally have been knocked down to the canvas. Hit hard in the gut by shutdowns and crippling lack of business.
When we took this shot to the gut on March 13 it took the breath out of me. It took me several weeks to catch my breath and regain consciousness to see where we are.
Now I see this time as a real opportunity to go to boot camp and get in shape. Re-double my effort to seek God and find Him and gain His direction.
I want to encourage you to re-gain consciousness as fast as you can. Find your footing and seek God during this time.
Use this time to make yourself better. Don’t waste a single day and when the world speeds back up you will be a more robust Christ follower ready for action.
